Sponsored & Endorsed Events Defined:

Sponsored Event – an event that is presented by an Area or sub-Area of Handbell Musicians of America.  The Area or sub-Area is financially responsible for the event and receives any financial benefit.  If the presenter is a sub-Area, it must be identified as an “official” sub-Area in the Area By-Laws, operate under the Federal ID Number of the Area,  and have representation on the full board of the Area.  Those attending a Sponsored Event MUST be a member (or part of a member choir) of Handbell Musicians of America.

Endorsed Event – an event that is presented by a member or member organization of Handbell Musicians of America.  The identified presenter MUST be the entity that is financially responsible for the event and receives any financial benefit. Any presenting organization must be a current member of Handbell Musicians of America (the membership must be in the name of the organization).  Those attending and Endorsed Event are encouraged to be members of Handbell Musicians of America.  Presenters of Endorsed Events should actively encourage those attending who are not already members to become members of Handbell Musicians of America.  The national office will provide marketing materials about membership opportunities upon request.
